I have loved cocker spaniels since I was a little girl and first saw Lady and the Tramp. My first cocker spaniel was buff and her name was…of course…Lady. Lady didn’t live very long and was very sick the whole time we had her. When I grew up I always knew I wanted to have cocker spaniels but worried about the health.

After much searching, I found my first cocker spaniel, “BonBon” - Ging’s Choco-Coated BonBon – a chocolate tricolor girl who went on to be flower dog at my wedding, a Canine Good Citizen and an amazing friend to all who knew her for many years. She also started me on my love of dog shows, activities in working toward the health of the breed, and led me to my first champion, “Morgan”, Ch. Ging’s Hey Hot Rod. BonBon, Morgan and my other champions and sweet parti-color cockers are here for you to see.

I am a member of the American Spaniel Club and a Liaison for the BreedCare Committee, I am a past-Board Member and current member and Public Education Coordinator of the Cocker Spaniel Club of New Jersey. I coordinate and run the club’s yearly eye/microchip clinic. In addition, I am an American Kennel Club Canine Ambassador and have put Canine Good Citizen titles on many dogs. I am also a writer and artist with my main subjects being dogs, of course.
