I have been in love with Cocker Spaniels since I was about 5 years old. My Aunt Esther had a black Cocker Spaniel, "Jeffrey" and I had a buff Cocker named, of course, "Lady". Unfortunately, Lady wasn't well and didn't live with us very long.
That memory stayed with me always and in the nearly 25 years as an adult that I have been in the world of Cocker Spaniels, my goal has been to improve the health of my beloved breed.
(Audrey Hepburn and me on the day she won her Championship by going over 3 specials, including her brother!) for a major and Best of Variety!)
I'm a member of the American Spaniel Club and have organized and run eye clinics for the American Spaniel Club Foundation and the Cocker Spaniel Club of New Jersey in efforts to find a DNA Marker for Cataracts in Cocker Spaniels with University of Pennsylvania's Dr Gus Aguirre.
I'm a member and Vice President of the Southern New Jersey Cocker Spaniel Club, Cocker Spaniel Club of NJ, the NJ Breeder Referral contact for American Spaniel Club, and have been a Rescue Liaison & Board Member for CSCNJ as well as the Club Liaison for the Breed Health Committee of the ASC Foundation.
I have run Judges' Education programs on Cocker Spaniels for AKC Judges' Study group and am an American Spaniel Club Judge Mentor.
I have also served on the Boards of the Princeton Dog Training Club & the Morris & Essex Kennel Club, acting as its Publicity and Art Show Chairs.
In fact, I wrote The Golden Age of Dog Shows: Morris & Essex Kennel Club 1927-1957, a coffee table hardcover book, available at the Morris & Essex Kennel Club site with all proceeds supporting the Morris & Essex Kennel Club
I named my Cockers "Topaz" Cockers because that is my birthstone and to me, all my dogs are my gems - precious, gorgeous, and special.
Every pup that is part of my family, is just that...
A part of my family.
I love staying in touch with everyone in our extended family.
I am always here to answer questions, share stories, and wonderful photos.
Some of my most wonderful friends have owned and loved my Topaz Cockers and we share a special, everlasting bond.
Because I live with and do many things with my Cockers, I breed very infrequently.
If you are looking for a puppy or older cocker spaniel to add to your family, please email me.
If I don't have one, I am a Breeder Referral person for American Spaniel Club and will do my best to help you find a responsible breeder who may have just the right pup or dog to add to your family.

Then in January 2018, Audrey Hepburn earned her Rally Novice title - that's her, above, with me earning her second leg -
In December 2017 she became a Champion all breeder-owner-handled by me! What a thrilling day that was!
